Murvin Abinash (முர்வின் அபினாஷ் born 18 June 2000) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler. He made his first-class debut for Burgher Recreation Club (BRC) against Colombo Cricket Club on August 25, 2023, during the Major League Tournament. In this match, he showcased his bowling skills, contributing to his team’s performance.
On December 13, 2023, Abinash made his List A debut for BRC against Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club in the Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament. He continued to demonstrate his bowling prowess, which became evident in subsequent matches.
A notable highlight of his career occurred on January 7, 2024, when he achieved career-best bowling figures, taking 8 wickets for 53 runs against Ace Capital Cricket Club. This remarkable performance was instrumental in securing BRC’s victory in that match.
